Boulevard Newman plays a key role in the mobility and economy of the borough of LaSalle. It features numerous living environments, a regional commercial hub (Carrefour Angrignon) and a variety of industrial facilities. The area is currently under considerable real estate pressure, which is having an impact on the redevelopment of its surroundings. Moreover, the planned structuring public transit project along the boulevard (Grand Sud-Ouest project) is an opportunity to completely reconfigure the area around the boulevard by better meeting LaSalle residents' needs.

There are many issues at stake: greening and sustainable development, user-friendliness and travel safety, land development and commercial vitality are just some of the concerns.

The Borough wants to reflect together, as a community, on the future of boulevard Newman. The aim is to create an ambitious, inclusive and integrated vision for the redevelopment project.

To do this, the Borough has set up a participatory process to identify the needs and aspirations of the community. The process includes a wide range of activities where residents can obtain information and actively take part in shaping the future of this area.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

Approximate duration: 5 to 10 minutes

The purpose of this survey is to find out your needs and ideas regarding the future of boulevard Newman. It is of the utmost importance for the borough of LaSalle to involve its community in this process, which will result in the development of a planning project to guide the urban redevelopment of the sector over the next few years, while meeting the current and future needs of its residents.

    MAP OF THE SECTOR

The sector of interest, illustrated below by a dark solid line, includes boulevard Newman, from rue Jean-Milot in the west to avenue Irwin in the east. The planning project does, however, call for greater reflection by including the living environments on both sides of the boulevard.
