The Borough is pleased to announce the results of the voting, which took place October 14 - November 14, 2024, for LaSalle's third participatory budget. The residents were asked to select four favourite projects from a total of eleven. After distribution of the 604 valid votes, four projects will be carried out within the $200,000 budget limit.
Thank you for your participation!

3. For teens: Let's get moving! (239 votes / 39.57%)
Social or sports activities followed by workshops led by mental health workers in order to create a caring environment

4. Make the bike path safer for everyone (235 votes / 38.91%)
Improve safety on the waterfront bike path.
- Thermoplastic road markings
- Permanent billboards
Location: at certain points along the waterfront bike path, with the exception of Parc des Rapides
Budget: $30,000
These projects total $172,000 out of an overall available budget of $200,000. The remaining $28,000 will be used to improve on the projects as needed and will help absorb any cost adjustments and, above all, the substantial inflation in the cost of materials and work involved in carrying out the four projects.
The Borough will implement and monitor the projects over a two-year period.
